Purchase a HOPE lock in support of the Kamloops Food Bank, personalize and then attach it alongside others to a permanent community art installation – Locking-In Hope.Watch the Unveiling
Thousands of individuals (adults, seniors, and children) within our community access the services provided by the Kamloops Food Bank every year. As numbers continue to rise, the Kamloops Food Bank requires continued community support in order to maintain operations and provide necessary programming to help those in need.
Locking-In Hope is a new fundraising initiative where community members and visitors alike can purchase a “HOPE Lock”, decorate or customize it as they see fit and attach it to our newly created public art installation showcasing their support to all.
All HOPE Lock proceeds will go directly back to the Kamloops Food Bank to be utilized towards community food programming.
Purchase your HOPE Lock online, at the HOPE structure, or at the Kamloops Food Bank. All proceeds will provide the Food Bank with the funds necessary to continue essential operations.
Decorate or modify your HOPE Lock to showcase a little of your personality or to bring attention to community-minded messaging you would like to share with spectators of the public art installation.
Attach your lock to the permanent public art installation at Riverside Park to show your support.
The Kamloops Food Bank provides food services for thousands of individuals within our local community and we need your help. The Locking-In Hope fundraiser will provide the Food Bank with the funds necessary to continue essential operations, while providing the community with a common ground in which to showcase your support and admiration for those who reside here.
The Locking-In Hope art installation is a unique partnership between the Kamloops Food Bank and the City of Kamloops. Kamloops City Council passed a motion to support the initiative in June 2018 and will be the guardians of this art installation, once complete, on behalf of the citizens of Kamloops.Construction Timelapse
